Hampton Roads Sanitation District (HRSD) Temporary and Long-term Flow Monitoring

HRSD currently provides wastewater treatment services for 17 counties and cities with a population of about 1.6 million. CSL was selected to install, operate and maintain, collect data, provide meter calibration services, and monthly reporting services for approximately 190 sewer flow meters for a period of 1 year starting in September of 2014. Flow monitoring is at strategic points within the HRSD gravity collection system. These services will be used to better understand the hydrology within selected Locality systems, HRSD systems, as well as prioritize Management, Operations, and Maintenance (MOM) basins where sanitary sewer evaluation surveys (SSES) may take place. These services will assist HRSD in meeting its regulatory commitments related to the Amended Consent Decree.
