Long Term Flow Monitoring, Bucks County PA

Bucks County Water & Sewerage Authority (BCWSA)

The BCWSA has used ADS flow meters since 1998 to bill the towns which send flow to them for conveyance to Philadelphia for treatment. CSL has performed two complete equipment upgrades (from Model 3500 to Model Flow Shark to Triton) of these existing ADS meters since 2003. This data obtained by these meters is used for billing, sewer flow analysis, including I/I, and for regulatory requirements. CSL operates and maintains these approximately 120 permanently installed flow meters for the BCWSA, including Quarterly Calibrations, Monthly and Annual Reports, and RDI/I Reports. In addition, CSL performs temporary flow metering services throughout the BCWSA system, with anywhere from 25-50 temporary flow meters installed for periods of between 3 months and one year. These meters are used for RDI/I and Capacity purposes, as well as Model Calibration and verification of Sewer Rehabilitation effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

“CSL has always been extremely customer-friendly, and has made it their commitment to not only meet, but exceed my expectations. They have assisted me in providing flow monitoring and data analysis for several projects in the Bucks County Water and Sewerage Authority’s systems over the past several years, and I look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
